I love the above To-Do list from Johnny Cash. It makes life simple. Workable. Doable. Livable.
How many of you make lists?
Johnny Cash was really on to something with his list. It was about staying healthy, focused and showing love to people that mattered most to him.
You can see my to do list in the sidebar. When it comes to this blog, my goals are for all of us to think outside the box and have better Relationships, more influence in Leadership and make a greater Impact in the world around us. Three focal points.
None of us will grow in these areas alone. We need to learn from each other and teach each other. We need to share our experiences. We need to share resources and ideas.
I’m not going to hide it. I have an agenda. I really want this blog to grow and become a community. I want us to help each other and laugh together.
Over the last week, I’ve been watching Google Analytics. I’m seeing the number of visitors SLOWLY grow each day. I see you over there Atlanta. I see you down in Tallahassee. Nasvhille. I see you Montgomery crew. And more places each day. I’m grateful for each of you stopping by, but especially those of you becoming regulars. I’m grateful for those who have left comments. I encourage all of you to drop a comment and let’s have a conversation.
I’d love for any of you to click on the “Contact” page and shoot me an email. Let me know what you think so far. Is this blog helpful? Is it one you would read regularly? Would you share it with anyone? Let me know.
I’m excited to be heading to Atlanta this afternoon for the Catalyst Conference. I’ll share posts with you tomorrow and Friday about this conference and why it means so much to me. You can follow my Twitter updates here on the blog, or follow me directly on Twitter at @creativebridge.
My questions for you all today…
- What does your “To Do List” look like?
- How can you make it simple?
- If you were to focus on three areas, what would be the three top priorities in your life?
Share your thoughts in the comments and let’s have a conversation.

First of all, your shout outs of where you see people creeped me out a bit. Since you know I’m a reader, I feel forced to comment, so that I’m not a blog stalker
My to do list is simple, too. To play, REALLY play with my son for at least an hour every day, read at least 2 books to my son a day, clean out the sink so we don’t have ants, don’t leave clothes in the washer so they don’t sour, put on lip gloss before my honey comes home, have something green on the plates for dinner, thank God for at least 3 things a day, no matter how rotten the day is, and drink coffee. And stalk your blog.
